Japanese Student Sculpture Walk

On a sunny afternoon in Wellington, the students from the St Catalina’s exchange walked at least 6kms to discover New Zealand sculpture in public places. The walk took in the waterfront, Civic Square, Lambton Quay, the Cable Car and the sculpture walk in the Botanical Gardens. The tour ended in the Peace Garden beside the Rose Garden – an appropriate conclusion as this garden is a memorial to the victims of war and celebrates friendship between our two countries.
