On Friday 19th October, nine year 11 students represented their English classes in the 2018 Speech Competition. The topics were extremely varied and each student presented their speech with conviction and confidence. The audience were highly engaged due to the style and topic choices. The speeches were informative, confronting, humorous, thoughtful and persuasive. The year 11 English teachers are very proud of each student who performed their speech at the competition. This year we had three runners up and an overall winner. Well done to everyone involved.
