Our Mission

To provide an excellent Catholic education for young women.

Welcome to St Mary's College, a Catholic school for girls. We are a Catholic Mercy College which offers an excellent Catholic education for young women, following the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church, and the spirit and values of Catherine McAuley, the foundress of the Sisters of Mercy who are our Proprietors.

We provide an education which will enable each student to have a life-long love of learning and the desire and skills to make a difference in society. We expect our students to work to a high standard at all times.

Each subject area offers a variety of extension programmes to enrich the learning of our students. Form Teachers, or the Year Level Dean, will inform parents if any problems arise. Reports are posted home and Parent-Teacher interviews are held during the year, to enable parents to meet with the teaching staff.

All students are encouraged to be involved in at least one of the numerous co-curricular activities which St Mary's College offers. These activities help students to develop their social and leisure skills, as well as enabling students to play an active part in fostering "School Spirit".

We welcome parent participation, interest and active involvement. This can be by serving as a member of one of our parent organisations, as a manager or coach of one of our sports or cultural teams.
